MediArena - a World Class Mediatech Cluster
The mediatech business cluster in Bergen is a unique ecosystem of content producers & distributors, technology & framework providers, Universities and entrepeneurs in Bergen. The project is founded by Norwegian Research Council, SIVA and Innovation Norway, and run as a non-profit company for the benefit of the partnering companies. The aim is to let the collaborative spirit in the region become an asset for increased innovation, distribution and commersialization of the ideas of tomorrows media industry. The project team facilitates conferences, seminars and workshops & currently develops experimental shared digital webservices to increase interoperabilty in the value chain. The project works closely with investors and partners in public sector/science to help startups succeed and within a shorter timespan reach an international customerbase.
